The Voice of the Child
To help us to reach as many young people as possible with a wide range of experiences, we are creating a register of current groups or services working directly with young people who might be able to distribute information to young people and collect the opinions and feed back from young people to the Partnership.
We will also use the register to contact groups to inform them about activities and events which young people can get involved in.
If you are an adult or a young person, who is part of a group for young people, and would like to register an interest in getting involved, then download and complete the registration form (Doc 73kb).
You can return the form by emailing us, or sending it to the following address:

Voice of the Child DVD
This film has been commissioned by the Greater Manchester Safeguarding Partnership. It has been made by young people across Greater Manchester who have all had experience of professional support from a range of services.
In it they share their experiences, describing how professionals could improve the help they give and the beneficial difference a good adult worker can make.
Multi-agency trainers across Greater Manchester have worked together to produce notes to accompany the DVD to aid training. We hope the DVD and supporting material gives professionals a useful insight into the perspectives of young people and acts as a reminder of why it is always important to listen to the voice of the child.
